What does F1, F2, F3 and F4 mean?
It’s the Pomsky generation. An F1 Pomsky is a Pomsky with a Siberian Husky mother and a Pomeranian father. The “1” means they’re the first generation Pomsky in a given bloodline. An F2 Pomsky has an F1 mother and an F1 father, they’re the second generation in their bloodline. An F3 Pomsky has 2 F2 parents and so on. The higher the generation number, the more predictable character and physical characteristics become, and the closer each individual dog will be to the breed standard/ideal.
